The Canis Majoris Foundation celebrated its II Technical Seminar, the IV Annual Conference and V Gala of the Elena Pessino Scholarships last Friday 27 January 2017. Among the institutions that attended the IV Annual Conference were the City of Madrid, the Madrid Association Against Bullying and the Arcipreste de Hita Institute.
The Canis Majoris Foundation held its II Technical Seminar,its IV Annual Conference and the V Gala of the Elena Pessino Scholarships on Friday January 27, 2017.
Throughout the morning, the Canis Majoris Foundation celebrated its II Technical Seminar to analyze the validity and reliability of the DSM-5 (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental disorders). Various experts in the field of Mental Health participated in this II edition of the Technical Seminar, which was coordinated by Dr. Ángeles Roig Moliner (Doctor of Psychiatry). This private function was held at the Club Financiero Génova.
In the afternoon, the Canis Majoris Foundation took the issue of "Bullying" to debate in its IV Annual Conference through two debates coordinated by Dr. Alicia Gómez Montano (Doctor of Journalism): Panel of Experts and the Open-table of Protagonists.
Finally, the V Gala of the Elena Pessino Scholarships was celebrated by the Canis Majoris Foundation which awarded 14 scholarships to students with functional diversity at the University of Alcalá. Among the institutions that presented the awards were; the Community of Madrid, the Ombudsman,the Spanish Paralympic Committee and the University of Alcalá.
Both, the IV Annual Conference of the Canis Majoris Foundation as well as the V Gala of the Elena Pessino Scholarships were held in the Main Hall of the Ateneo de Madrid, on Friday 27 January 2017.
