The University of Alcalá (UAH) presents the summer course "Strategies to help people with disabilities and dependency" in which the Canis Majoris Foundation also participates. The course will be held from 4th to 14th of July at UAH.
The Foundation Canis Majoris has convoqued the II Course of Experts in Animal Assisted Therapy, next to the Oficial School of Psychologists (COP) and the Community of Madrid. This is the only oficial course in Spain, imparted, specifically to psychologists and students in their last year of Psychology Degree. Also collaborating are Intress, Assosiation Hydra, and facilitating their infrastructure, Diana Campo Retrievers.
During the months of may and june, Foundation Canis Majoris celebrated, in collaboration with the Official School of Psychologists, the first course, Intensive Experts in Animal Assisted Therapy. In the eight weeks of work in the course developed, the 20 students graduated from it, had the opportunity to know the main lines of work, in order to undertake and execute a correct Animal Assisted Therapy.
