Professor Miguel Ángel Aguilar Fernández Sanjuán, of the Rey Juan Carlos University, Faculty of Physics will organize these interdisciplinary seminars aimed at disseminating and expounding the current issues affecting this subject.
Professor Manuel Aguilar Benitez de Lugo, current President of the Physics and Chemistry Section of the Royal Academy of Sciences will take part in these seminars next 3rd May by giving a conference on recent experiments undertaken at the International Space Station (ISS) for the study of cosmic rays. These experiments, headed by Professor Samuel Ting, winner of the Nobel Prize for Physics and Professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) are the only ones of their kind in the world and represent the cutting edge of High Energy Experimental Physics.
