The celebration of Majoris Week at the Canis Majoris Foundation starts with the Exhibition of the Siboney Narrative and Painting Prize contest, which the Foundation organizes every year in collaboration with the Community of Madrid, the Association for the fostering of Reading among children and young people “Amigos del Dragón lector” ( “Friends of the Dragon Reader”) and the plastic artist, Paloma Johansson. The purpose of the contest is to promote interest in reading and painting among schoolchildren between the ages of 6 and 17, who are at risk of psychosocial exclusion.
On Monday, January 13, 2020, at 6:00 p.m., we honor the small artists who each year participate in the Siboney Narrative and Painting Prize exposing their works and drawings in our Exhibition Hall.
