As of today, our networks are dyed blue to remember World Autism Awareness Day, which is celebrated on April 2. This day has been designated to underscore the need to help improve the lives of people suffering from this disorder so that they can lead a full and satisfying life.

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurobiological disorder of development that  manifests itself during the first three years of life and that will last throughout the life cycle. Among others, people with ASD show persistent deficiencies in communication and social interaction and restrictive and repetitive patterns of behavior, interests or activities.

At the Canis Majoris Foundation, we put all our efforts into improving the quality of life for those who need it most. With the aim of continuing to do our part for society and continue working for the no difference of difference, for  World  Autism Awareness Day,, the Canis Majoris Foundation, through our YouTube channel #MadrinaMajoris ,  presents Nadia de Santiago, who will become a Canine Therapist for a day at the Peripatos Special Education Center, where the Canis Majoris Foundation conducts Assisted Therapy with Animals with a group of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
