On November 28 at 7:00 p.m., the Gonzalo Casas Pessino Cultural Diffusion Center hosts the presentation of the book “The question of the individual faced with the challenges of globalization ”, written by Felix Duque, Carlos Gómez, Brais González-Arribas, Francisco J. Martínez, Rafael Moreno, Teresa Oñate y Zubía, Jacinto Rivera de Rosales and Ángela Sierra, and coordinated by Marisa Alcaide Fernández and Teresa Oñate y Zubía.

“The question of the Individual facing the challenges of globalization”, jointly edited by the Canis Majoris Foundation and Dykinson publishing,is a result of the Philosophy seminar “THE CLEARING OF THE FOREST: The question of the Subject before the challenges of globalization ”, organized in collaboration with the International Chair in Critical Hermeneutics (HERCRITIA-UNED-Santander) held at the Gonzalo Casas Pessino Cultural Diffusion Center from March to May 2018.

The Gonzalo Casas Pessino Cultural Diffusion Center opened Its doors with one objective: to become a meeting point for groups of experts from different subjects related to functional diversity and the risk of psychosocial exclusion. At the Canis Majoris Foundation, we strive for all the activities, seminars and workshops held at the Gonzalo Casas Pessino Cultural Diffusion Center to be presented to the public with a “Support Texts” format.

After much work, these texts have taken the form of a collection titled “Pensamientos Majoris”(Majoris Reflexions), that came to light with the sale of the first issue in 2019 titled ‘The Theater as a tool for change’.

We are pleased to invite you to the presentation of the second edition of the “Majoris Thoughts” collection, where we will be graced with the presence and intervention of its coordinators and some of its authors to subsequently give way to a colloquium with the audience.
