Next July 17th At 6:00 p.m., the Cuarta Pared (Fourth Wall) theater room hosts the presentation of the book “The Theater as a tool for change”, written by David Ojeda, Denis Rafter, Domingo Ortega, Gregorio Pastor and Iván Alvarado and coordinated by the actress and journalist Rosa Puga.
“The Theater as a tool for change”, published jointly by the Canis Majoris Foundation and Dykinson,Publishing SL, was born as a result of the celebration of the 1st Edition of the Theater and Society Days, held in October 2017 at the Gonzalo Casas Pessino Center for Cultural Diffusion.
The Gonzalo Casas Pessino Cultural Diffusion Center began with one objective: to become a meeting point for groups of experts on different subjects related to functional diversity and the risk of psychosocial exclusion.
From here at the Canis Majoris Foundation, we work so that all the activities, conferences and seminars that take place in the Gonzalo Casas Pessino Cultural Diffusion Center, will be made known to the public with a format of “Support Texts”.
After a lot of work, these texts have taken the form of a collection, which under the name “Pensamiento Majoris”, (Majoris Thoughts) saw the light of day with the sale in 2019 of the first issue titled: ‘The Theater as a tool for change’.
We are pleased to invite you to the presentation of the book in which we will have the presence and intervention of its authors; Iván Alvarado, David Ojeda, Domingo Ortega, Gregorio Pastor, Denis Rafter and Rosa Puga Davila and will later give way to a conversation with the audience .
