Seminar on “Experience and Creativity”

Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at 7:00 p.m.

The Gonzalo Casas Pessino Cultural Diffusion Center of the Canis Majoris Foundation is organizing  the “Experience and Creativity” seminar, coordinated by Dr. Valentín Corces Pando, Patron of the Canis Majoris Foundation.

DescriptionTechnique and imagination constitute the axis of creative activity. The artistic work, in any of its forms, requires abundant doses of both faculties and upon these, or preferably, intertwined with them, other aspects that shape, or even explain, the work of writers and artists.

Personal experience – which is nothing other than a  vital event endowed with significance – is one of these elements that must be taken into account when the work of a particular author has already closed its cycle and is presented as a whole or finished speech worthy of study

ObjectiveThe present conferences aim to inquire about the life and work of authors, from different angles, about situations that help to understand their creative activity and their conditioning in different moments and realities of cultural history in Spain and, to some extent, abroad. They are open conferences that propose questions that are open to other research, yet,  are intended to be presented in a pleasant and, of course, rigorous manner.

The seminar will be held on alternate Wednesdays, from October 2 to December 11, 2019

Start date: Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at 7:00 p.m.

Place: Gonzalo Casas Pessino Cultural Diffusion Center (C / Bárbara de Braganza, 10, under 28004- Madrid)

The seminar is free. Those wishing to attend are required to request assistance from:  administracion@fcmajoris.es
