On September 23rd, from 12:00pm to 2:00pm, the Canis Majoris Foundation attended the meeting convened by the Spanish Association of Foundations (AEF) with the aim of starting to shape the 2019 DEMOS program. The venue chosen for the meeting was the Germán Sánchez Rupérez Foundation facilities that will also host the celebration of DEMOS 2019, with the 2030 Agenda and digital transformation as a transversal line of focus.
DEMOS, aims to reinforce and strengthen the networking aspect of the sector, bringing the day to day of the foundations to citizens, encourage collaboration between entities, share solidarity experiences and promote donation as a form of individual contribution to initiatives of general interest. DEMOS is the day for the foundations in the third sector entities to share experiences and projects. For the Canis Majoris Foundation and for all the entities that form the third sector, it is an important day providing visible value and recognition to the work we do each day with great effort and enthusiasm.
Throughout the meeting we were given the opportunity to make proposals on content, speakers and activities and also share impressions. Our goal is to participate actively in this year’s event and we look forward to the next meeting, to be held on the 23rd October, where the program outlining the DEMOS 2019 will likely be devised.
