The Canis Majoris Foundation resumes the Theater sessions aimed at children with functional diversity

We are very pleased to announce the reactivation of one of the beneficiary groups of the Theater Classroom. The group belongs to the  Early Care Center-Humanes, which works for the treatment and rehabilitation of syndromes and illnesses in children of different evolutionary stages aged from 0 to 6.

Since the center first opened on June 1, the management of the center considered recovering the theater classroom sessions to be of vital importance due to its therapeutic nature, given that due to the current situation, caused by COVID-19, the most vulnerable groups are those who have suffered the most from recent confinement at a personal, family and social level.

The sessions will take place in accordance to the health and safety and accident prevention protocols established by the Ministry of Health. The  size of the groups and the contents have been adapted to the current situation and needs of the children who attend the center.

The coordinator of the activity, the actress and journalist Rosa Puga Davila, is currently undertaking talks with the other  Centers and we hope that the rest of the groups who comprise  the “La Barraca 2.0-María Bacardí” Theater Classroom will be able to recommence their activity very soon.
