The Germán Sánchez Foundation Ruipérez (FGSR) is an independent and non-profit institution created by the Spanish publisher Germán Sánchez Ruipérez, who has dedicated himself to educational and cultural activity and focuses most of his programs on the dissemination and extension of book culture and of reading. The FGSR is not limited to proposing action models, but strives to experience them through action centers and programs. Among its centers are the first library, which is dedicated exclusively to children and young people in the city of Salamanca and became the “Planeta Imaginario”(Imaginary Planet) project to integrate a much broader concept of reading and oriented towards music and stage, the library in the rural municipality of Peñaranda de Bracamonte and the Casa del Lector (readers haven) located in the Matadero de Madrid, understood as a new type of center dedicated to reading in a global sense and which is already an international reference of innovation in this field.

The Health Education Foundation (FUNDADEPS) is a non-profit organization that originated within the San Carlos Clinical Hospital in Madrid. FUNDADEPS is the continuation of the Health Education Association (ADEPS), an organization that emerged in the Preventive Medicine Service of that same hospital in 1985 and which pioneered the development of Health Education in Spain. FUNDADEPS aims to promote health through health promotion, health education and scientific and technical research, increasing the quality of life of citizens through the Health Culture.

With the signing of this agreement, the Canis Majoris Foundation continues with the establishment of synergies with other institutions that enable the advancement of knowledge and the promotion of research and science.
